The Hame offers spacious and versatile accommodation which has been modernised and extended to create a versatile family home. The accommodation is bright, spacious and well presented and there are views of the gardens and surrounding countryside from every window. The front door opens to the spacious entrance hall with doors leading to the sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The sitting room runs the depth of the house and has a lovely bay window to the front parquet flooring and a dual fuel stove. The dining room has another bay window to the front and a wood burning stove. The kitchen really is the heart of the home here with an oil fired Rayburn oven which also provides the central heating and hot water, a range of quality wall and base units, granite work surfaces, two integrated dish washers, a hidden oven which raises to waist height, water softener and stone flooring. A door leads through to the utility room and downstairs cloakroom. From the kitchen a further door leads through to the garden room - a wonderful space with floor to ceiling glass to three sides overlooking the pond and waterfall. Sliding doors open to the deck area beside the pond and looks towards the projector screen - a great space for those who like to entertain.
Upstairs, the spacious landing leads to the five bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedrooms suite has a lovely vaulted ceiling, a large walk in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with a white modern suite, tiled walls and floor and an aqualisa shower over a whirlpool bath. Bedroom two also has an en-suite shower room and built in storage. Each of the bedrooms has superb views over the surrounding countryside and gardens.
Outside, the house is approached by a long gravel drive which is shared with the neighbouring property and leads to a large parking area with ample off road parking for several vehicles. The driveway benefits from an electric car charging point.
There are various outbuildings, currently used for storage and workshops, including a garage, green house and summer house which has power and water connected.
The barn is a great space which measures approximately 38' x 18' and is currently used as a workshop with a games room above. All services are connected and it is thought this could be converted to provide extra accommodation such as an annex or Air BnB - subject to planning permission.
The current vendors have enhanced the professionally landscaped gardens beautifully. There are several lawned areas, mature flower borders, a woodland area and vegetable garden as well as a hidden secret garden. The highest garden level has lovely views towards the other side of the valley and leads to the summer house which has power and water. The waterfall and pond are a super focal point and give a lovely background of trickling water throughout the garden. In total the gardens extend to approximately 1.64 acres.
