Finn's have obtained planning and listed building consent to convert a Grade II listed barn to a residential dwelling together with the demolition of modern agricultural buildings and erection of two new build properties.
The site, a redundant farmyard, presented a challenge both in location and current land use terms and with the listed building to consider. Working closely with Architect Luke Strange and with ongoing communication with the Councils Conservation Officers, the site will be transformed by the consent, returning back to an open courtyard layout which will open up views of the fantastic Grade II listed barn from the road and provide three high quality detached residential dwellings with views of the open farmland adjacent.
The removal of the redundant farm buildings enables the replacement of concrete areas with new landscaping to significantly improve the biodiversity attraction of this site and will most definately have a positive impact visually in the local area.
