Our Canterbury office is situated on a sunny corner. It’s a location that really lets our colourful yellow branding really shine. So in July - the hottest month of the year so far - it was fascinating to see our sales team keep pace with East Kent’s fast moving market.
With properties as diverse as Grade II listed cottages and semi-detached refurbishment projects, there will be a wide variety of issues to address in every sale. Our team’s exceptional depth of knowledge and experience in the East Kent market, means that they have a sixth sense for the details that will require careful shepherding through to a successful exchange of contracts.
Exchanges this month shared a refurbishment theme. The buyers for both the Strangers Lane bungalow and the Meadow Road semi-detached home will be readying themselves for upgrading their homes for their next phase of life. Home like these have been hugely popular, but perhaps it’s not surprising that sales were agreed in the cooler spring months!
At Finn’s we prefer to keep the same agents working on your sale from marketing through to completion. It’s a way of working that helps to maintain a consistent level of communication and makes the most of understanding each property and each vendor.
Moving sales along with calls to busy solicitors, liaising with other agents in a chain and keeping buyers and vendors up to date, all happens alongside other marketing projects. So while exchanges of contracts are underway, we’ve also been handling sales negotiations on a diverse range of properties in the villages of Denton and Patrixbourne and in Ramsgate, Thanet:
